What do Jewish men wear to weddings?

Orthodox Jewish men traditionally wear a kittel - a white garment over their outfit (suit/tux etc.) just like on the "day of atonement". to symbolize the beginning of a "clean slate" in their lives.

Before the baddeken ceremony, the grooms shoes are untied and ashes are placed upon his head in rememberence of the destruction of the holy temple, on this momentous occasion.
